Spring is here!

I haven't updated in forever!!! We've done a lot since our last update... Most importantly a trip to Disney! Sweden loved meeting all of the princesses. It was so fun to go as a parent. It made the experience twice as much fun! Currently we are thoroughly enjoying our new neighborhood. Life could not be better her in Ross Bridge. We are so blessed to have wonderful new friends and neighbors! I recently purchased some new front porch furniture that we are enjoying every day. So if you are close, come on by! :)

Fun Times!

It's been a while since I've updated... I have a lot to catch up on! Maybe this week....
We are headed home today after another fun weekend at the beach with Mom. Steven even got to come! It was Shrimp Festival weekend and that was so much fun! We are already ready to come back!! It's so relaxing being at the beach. Good times all around!!

If you can't tell, Sweden's shirt says "Mimi's Princess!" I think someone had them in mind when they made it! :)

Cinderella

We haven't had much fun news to report on lately. Sorry! Sweden did read me the Cinderella book on Monday. Although she can't "read" yet she certainly told the whole story from looking at the pictures! Impressive what their little minds retain.

Giddy Up!

Today is Western Day at preschool... or "Cowgirl Day" if you ask Sweden! She went to school in her new boots. She couldn't wait to get there to see if the boys in her class had boots and hats on, too! She calls her cowgirl boots "running boots" because she likes to run in them!

Sweden and some of her "ranchmates!" haha

Words of Wisdom

Sweden and I have deep conversations on the way to school every morning. It's her chattiest time of the day. Well, yesterday, out of the blue, she said, "Mommy, I don't want to get big." To which I replied, "I don't want you to get big either, but one day you will be a grown up." To which she replied, "And I can make coffee??!!" And then she asked if Daddy was a grown up. She was more excited about making coffee than knowing that Daddy was a grown up also! Ha ha.

I'm a Ballerina!

Sweden started ballet classes this week. She was very, very excited. We went last week and got all of her leotards, ballet shoes and new "tappy" shoes. She was ready to go. There were about 13 little girls in her class. I was able to watch the lesson on a television in the lobby. She paid close attention to everything going on, but she just stood there the whole time!! (Let's not mention that we know that to her though!) She switched her shoes when told to and would stand up and sit down when told, but she didn't dance at all! It always takes her a while to get comfortable, but I am really hoping this will help her to come out of her shell a bit more! She said it was fun and she got a lollipop from her teacher when class was over... Can't wait to see how next week goes!

New Friend

Sweden met a sweet new friend, Cole yesterday. He lives in New Orleans. They had a marvelous time running in the water at sunset. I have some great pictures on my camera that I will add when we get home. Sweden is dying to go to the beach right now to see him, but we are waiting for the storm to pass.

Testing testing 123

So I am now trying to blog from my phone. This is a test. If it works, the picture you see will be from the beach! It's a beautiful morning!

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new seat...

Sweden can ride in Daddy's car now! We got her a big girl seat for Steven's car. She thinks it's the coolest thing to be able to ride with Daddy. She says she can "reach everything." Mommy's car is no fun anymore!

Last days for pool days!

On Monday we went to Ross Bridge to swim with our friends Stephanie and Tanner. It was a lot of fun! Sweden met lots of new friends. She told Steven when she got home that she "loved the big pool there." It was a nice afternoon. Maybe one day we will move there........

Vroom Vroom

Sweden's favorite thing to do with Bop? Play with the race cars!! We had such a fun weekend with Dad. Baseball, shopping, dining and walking a cool trail. Sweden also got to feed the ducks. And boy were they hungry! She loved having them eat the bread out of her hand!

Root, root, root for the Bravos....

Last weekend when we went to visit Bop, we went to the Jackson Braves game. It was a ball! (no pun intended) Sweden was terrified of the fireworks during our national anthem, but after that, all was okay! We even ran into my precious friend from high school, Libby Wynn. That was a real treat! Sweden loves going to baseball games.

Lunch With My Bestie!

Last Friday on our way out of town we had lunch with Sweden's "best friend" Stephanie and her mom Margo. The girls are in the same class again this year. They certainly love each other. I couldn't resist putting this cute picture on here!

Pettys & Petrys

A couple weekends ago my sweet friend from high school, Kara, and her husband Lowell Petty came to visit. We had such a fabulous time with them!! Sweden really loved playing with them. It was a great time. Hopefully we will get to Raleigh, NC to visit them soon!! We love y'all Kara and LoLo!
Wearing Vineyard Vines whale hats!! Silly kids.
Sweden was so excited to have Kara paint her fingers and toes!

Mini Me

One of Sweden's recent school projects was to make a paper doll that looked like her. We worked really hard... And afterwards she glued stones and yarn to every piece of paper she could find! Haha. I think she did a good job, don't you? She loves to do some artwork!
